Share with FriendDay 1 – Edmonton to Radium Hot Springs, BC
Welcome aboard your deluxe coach as your tour begins in Edmonton. Travel south along Highway 2 through Red Deer, Calgary (coffee) then into Banff National Park. Leaving Banff after lunch you cross into beautiful British Columbia. Sit back and enjoy the magnificent ruggedness of mountains, lakes and rivers as you travel to Radium Hot Springs your destination for the evening. After checking into your hotel we will transport you to the hot springs for a soothing soak prior to dinner. Overnight Accommodation: Prestige Radium Hot Springs.
Day 2 – Radium to Rossland
This morning after breakfast we load your luggage then its time to board your coach and begin your trek towards Trail. Your route takes you south to the Bavarian theme town of Kimberly for coffee, then through Cranbrook, Creston for lunch and on to Rossland, home of Nancy Green . We will visit the Rossland Museum & have a Gold Mine tour before taking you to your hotel. This evening enjoy an Italian dinner at the Colander Restaurant in Trail. Overnight Accommodation: Prestige Mountain Resort Rossland.
Day 3 – Rossland to Vernon
This morning after breakfast we depart Rossland for a scenic drive to Vernon. After stops in Grand Forks for coffee, lunch in Oliver we then travel north through Penticton,Summerland & Peachland arriving in Kelowna mid afternoon. Enjoy a relaxing scenic boat cruise on Okanagan Lake before heading to Vernon your home for the next two evenings. Overnight Accommodation: Village Green Hotel.
Day 4 – Orchard & Winery Tour
After breakfast this morning we will transport you to Westbank for a tour & wine tasting at Mission Hill Winery which Reader’s Digest described as “The most spectacular winery in Canada, for both it’s architectural beauty and its location overlooking Lake Okanagan” Then its back to Vernon for a guided tour of Davison Orchards. After the tour enjoy a lunch and browse the gift shop.
Day 5 – Vernon to Revelstoke, BC
Today is a leisurely day where we do not leave on the start of our trip home until noon. Our trip today takes us north through Armstrong for a tour of a cheese factory through the picturesque Shuswap Lake area stopping in Sicamous for ice cream before arriving at Three Valley Gap your overnight destination. This evening enjoy a Barbecued Steak dinner and tour of the Ghost Town. Overnight Accommodation: Three Valley Lake Chateau.
Day 6 – Revelstoke…Home
Today you travel back on the trans-Canada to Banff & Calgary enjoying the scenery of the mountains. Then its on to highway 2 north to Edmonton. You return home with fond memories of your Kootenay-Okanagan vacation.
