In 1988 he then moved to Los Angeles, and within a few short months became one of the top headliners on the U.S. comedy club circuit. This led to his many appearances on multiple stand-up comedy shows, as well as numerous guest appearances on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show and Late Night with David Letterman.
