Happy New Year 2023!

Woo hoo, we have finally launched a BOOK NOW button available for each of our tours!

When you click to view details of a tour, you will now find that you can download a pdf of the tour to be able to print or send to friends by clicking on the DOWNLOAD BROCHURE button and you can submit your booking information by clicking on the BOOK NOW button.

We always love to talk to you, but we know that sometimes it is not convenient to call during office hours, so we wanted to help you be able to book your travel when it is convenient for YOU.

EXCITING UPDATES!!!

WE ARE EXCITED TO BE BACK!!!

We are so happy and grateful to be back to offering upcoming tours with some cautious optimism that the travel world will be opening SOON!

With a few changes, we are back to offering and planning tours once again with a more sustainable and greener approach.

In order to start back in a more efficient manner, we have moved to more online/digital procedures such as:

  • We no longer have a retail storefront office to accept in-person bookings or payments.
  • We are reducing the extreme amount of mailouts that we previously sent out and will only do on a need-to basis.
  • We will not be producing a paper brochure at this time.  All of our current and upcoming tours can be found on our website.
  • We will be sending most information via email to reduce our paper usage. Please let the office know if you have a new or changed email address.
  • Methods of payment accepted are preferably by email transfer (e transfer) or cheque/money order. 
  • Online booking – COMING SOON!

We want to thank all of our loyal customers for understanding and continuing to trust us with their travel excursions.  As we move forward in this new manner, we hope to create a more streamlined and efficient experience for all our current and future customers.

COVID 19 Travel Update

PROMOTION TOURS TRAVEL POLICY FOR UPCOMING & FUTURE TRAVEL

With the uncertainty of travel schedules due to travel restrictions, Promotion Tours has implemented an updated policy to help address immediate concerns with travel plans. The safety and security of our guests, employees, and all of our travel hosts is our first priority.

At this time, Promotion Tours has postponed all tours through to and including May 31, 2020.  As the COVID 19 situation is fluid and there are continually new travel advisories from governments, the World Health Organization, and travel destination hosts, we will communicate any new developments going forward.

In order to abide by the new norm of social distancing, we have made the decision to close our office and are working from home.  We are still receiving phone messages and emails and are responding in a timely manner.

In line with fellow tour operators and airline partners, the following temporary policy update for 2020 travel will be effective immediately and remain in place until further notice and is subject to change at any time.

If any tour is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (such as government advisements, travel restrictions, destination host restrictions or airline restrictions), we would give our passengers the option of transferring to an alternate travel date or placed into a travel credit for any Promotion Tours tour to be used within 24 months after the original date of travel.

Historic Cities tour is back!

Haven’t you always wanted to explore some of Canada’s oldest cities? We have just what you need. Flights from Edmonton and Calgary into Ottawa for 2 nights where we will stay at the Courtyard Marriot. Here you have direct access to Byward Market and downtown Ottawa. With a local guided city tour, a Parliament West Block tour, and a tour of the Canadian War Museum, as well as a free afternoon to explore Byward Market and downtown Ottawa on your own. En-route to Montreal we will stay at Fairmont Chateau Montebello, the worlds largest log building and hotel which is located on the Manoir Papineau National Historic Site. Then it’s off to Old Montreal for 2 nights where we stay at the Springhill Suites Marriot right in the heart of Old Montreal, once again a guided city tour, a visit to the Notre Dame Basilica are just a few of the highlights, you will also have a free afternoon and evening to explore Old Montreal. Then we move on to Quebec City for our final 2 evenings, once again staying in the Heart of Old Quebec at the Historic Hotel Clarendon, again a guided city tour and plenty of free time to explore on your own, capping off our stay in Quebec is a visit to Chemin du Roy Maple Sugar Shack for a tour and lunch. Return Flights from Quebec City to Edmonton or Calgary.

Yellowstone and Cody Wyoming coming June 2020

Get ready for the trip of the summer! This 7 day tour is sure to thrill everyone! We start with our first day traveling to Great Falls where we will stay in the brand new Sleep Inn Mainstay Suites. From here we will travel to West Yellowstone for 2 evenings at the Clubhouse Inn. Before check in we will visit the Grizzly Bear and Wolf Discovery Center & I-max theatre. After a great sleep we will depart for a local guided tour of West Yellowstone. What better way to discover Old Faithful and the park than by having a local guide show us everything the park has to offer. The next day we will take the north route through the park to Cody Wyoming! On the way into Cody we will visit the Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center. After that we will have a trolley tour of the town and get a chance to see the Cody gunfighters battle it out in the streets before checking into the Buffalo Bill Village. You will have your own private cabins for the next two evenings! An authentic Old-West experience! The next day is free to enjoy the five museums at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center! Enjoy an included Dinner Show this evening before retiring to your cabin. The next day you will have some more free time before we depart back to Great Falls for another overnight at the Sleep Inn Mainstay Suites. Day 7 we will cross the border with a stop at duty free to take advantage of some great tax free savings before dropping off at our home cities.
